Penn State has released the names of the four candidates for three open alumni trustee seats in this spring's election. The university selected their names by a lottery process out of a pool of qualified nominees.

The candidates are Alvin de Levie, a 1977 graduate of the College of the Liberal Arts; Robert Tribeck, a 1991 graduate of the College of the Liberal Arts; Laurie Stanell, a 1980 graduate of the Eberly College of Science; and Brandon Short, a 1999 graduate of the Smeal College of Business.

On March 15, candidates will post their biographies and platform on the Board of Trustees’ Meet the Candidates page.

In order to vote in the online election, alumni voters must request their ballots during regular business hours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays.

The request form opens on April 10, with the voting deadline set for 9 a.m. on May 3. However, voters who participated in the nomination phase already have their ballots reserved for the general election.
